E-commerce Product Researcher & Local Sourcer

Job Description

We are looking for a smart, active, and field-oriented E-commerce Product Researcher & Local Sourcer to identify and source winning products from local markets and suppliers.

The ideal candidate should be capable of visiting markets, finding trending products, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating with the team for launching products in our e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities Product Research (Online + Local)

• Identify trending and high-demand products for e-commerce (Facebook, TikTok, Shopify)
• Research viral products and adapt them for the local market
• Validate product demand, competition, and profit margins

Local Market Visits

• Visit wholesale markets, shops, and suppliers to find new products
• Build relationships with local vendors and distributors
• Identify unique or untapped products not widely sold online

Product Sourcing

• Source products from local markets and suppliers
• Negotiate best prices, bulk rates, and credit terms
• Arrange product samples and check quality

Supplier Management

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Ensure product availability and consistent supply
• Coordinate for bulk orders and restocking

Data & Reporting

• Maintain product sheets (cost, selling price, margin, supplier details)
• Share daily/weekly updates on product findings
• Track performance of shortlisted products

Team Coordination

• Work with marketing team for product creatives and ads
• Coordinate with operations/logistics for delivery feasibility

Requirements

• Experience in e-commerce product research or sourcing (preferred)
• Must be willing to visit local markets regularly
• Good understanding of trending products and customer demand
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of pricing, margins, and profitability
• Self-motivated and target-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience in local market sourcing (wholesale markets, distributors)
• Familiarity with TikTok & Facebook product trends
• Basic Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
• Understanding of COD (Cash on Delivery) business model

Important Requirement (Must Read)

Candidate must be willing to visit markets daily and bring 3–5 new product ideas with complete details (price, supplier, and expected margin).

• Location: Onsite - Lahore
• Job Type: Full-time
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Timings: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
