E-Commerce Executive

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven E-commerce Executive to join our team. This role is perfect for a proactive individual who is passionate about online retail and wants to help our startup clients build and grow their online stores. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing various e-commerce platforms, ensuring smooth operations, and implementing strategies to drive sales.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of clients’ online stores and marketplace accounts (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart).
  • Create and optimize product listings, including writing compelling descriptions, uploading high-quality images, and ensuring proper categorization.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO techniques to improve product visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, traffic metrics, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate with our internal teams (graphic designers, content writers) to create and publish engaging content for product pages and digital campaigns.
  • Manage inventory, process orders, and oversee shipping and returns to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, platform updates, and best practices.
  • Communicate directly with clients to provide performance updates and discuss strategy.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency with popular e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce.
  • Experience managing product listings and orders on online marketplaces such as Amazon or Flipkart.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience Required

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing role.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of paid advertising on e-commerce platforms or social media.
  • Experience with inventory management software.
