The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving growth and delivering revenue goals for GAMMA Sports’ DTC business. This role will oversee the entire digital consumer journey, from building awareness at the top of the funnel with paid social and digital advertising, to optimizing conversions on the GAMMA Sports website. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, able to set an annual promotional and digital marketing strategy while also managing day-to-day execution, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations for Shopify and B2B digital storefronts.
Oversee full product setup: imagery, copy, SEO, tags, pricing, promotions.
Build and optimize collections, navigation, and landing pages for discoverability and conversion.
Own promotional strategy, execution and analytics.
Run QA across devices/browsers to ensure site speed, functionality, and accessibility.
Develop upsell, cross-sell, and bundling experiences to grow AOV and repeat rate.
Conduct keyword research and execute SEO strategies to improve rankings.
Optimize product listings and site content for search and conversion.
Track performance with GA4, Shopify Analytics, and SEO tools.
Own Klaviyo campaigns and automation: strategy, segmentation, testing, deliverability
Build and maintain automated email and SMS flows.
Partner with Marketing Coordinator on email/SMS content to drive engagement and revenue.
Develop digital ad strategies and oversee execution.
Manage loyalty programs to increase LTV.
Support affiliate programs through code development and management.
Track KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, retention, category performance) to deliver insights and recommendations to Marketing and Executive Leadership.
Translate data into strategies for site, CRM, promotions, and campaign optimization.
Directly manage a Marketing Coordinator to support campaign execution, merchandising, and content.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Operations, and Sales to align DTC and B2B initiatives.
Manage external agencies/contractors (development, paid digital advertising).
Qualifications
3-5 years of Shopify & CRM experience in a DTC brand or agency
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in retail/digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media advertising, SEO, and conversion optimization.
Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, product data, and customer behavior analytics.
Proficiency in Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and Excel
NetSuite ERP and/or Suite Commerce Experience a plus
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS coding.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics into strategy.
Experience managing direct reports.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Passion for sports – especially tennis, pickleball or padel – is a big plus
