E-Commerce Manager

Position Overview

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of Spectrum Labs’ direct-to-consumer (DTC) website, ensuring a seamless and optimized customer experience. This role plays a critical part in the company’s growth strategy by maximizing conversion, optimizing site performance, and aligning product presentation with marketing campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX), site merchandising, and funnel performance.
  • Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and content across the e-commerce platform.
  • Lead A/B testing, checkout optimizations, and site improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service to resolve consumer pain points and enhance satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure inventory availability and promotional campaigns are accurately represented online.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key site metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Stay current with e-commerce best practices and emerging technologies, applying them to site enhancements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing an e-commerce platform (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, CRO strategies, and digital merchandising.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
  • Proficiency in A/B testing tools and site optimization practices.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and customer-focused mindset.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in consumer goods or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business outcomes.


Wages are negotiable within the competitive salary range set by The Reading Group. The ranges have been established based on organization, industry, and national standards. Desired salary expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
