Job Description: E-Commerce Marketing Specialist (Shopify, Paid Ads & Amazon Strategy)
We are seeking a proactive and creative E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our e-commerce Shopify website ( www.raspberrycreekfabrics.com ) and digital marketing for digitally printed fabric, wallpaper, and home décor products. This role will lead the development of paid media strategy and launch our expansion into selling on Amazon. You’ll also administer our private Facebook page with 32,000+ home sewing enthusiasts and ensure top-notch store optimization, engaging campaigns, and excellent email customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Website Management
- Add, update, and maintain product listings with accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and current pricing.
- Ensure the website reflects all promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal collections.
- Track site analytics; make recommendations to improve user experience and conversion.
Paid Media Strategy & Launch
- Develop and recommend a paid advertising strategy for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google.
- Plan, test, and implement initial paid ad campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Analyze campaign data, optimize spending, and report on ROI.
Amazon Marketplace Development
- Plan and execute launch of our product line on Amazon, starting with listing creation and account setup.
- Optimize Amazon product listings for visibility and conversion.
- Manage ongoing Amazon strategy as the channel grows, analyzing sales data and recommending improvements.
Social Media Marketing & Community
- Manage a social media content calendar (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) to showcase products, share design inspiration, and highlight customer stories.
- Engage with followers and transform social conversations into sales.
- Track and report on social media performance.
Customer Service & Email Campaigns
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, providing product info and order support.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently to deliver an excellent experience.
- Collaborate with fulfillment/design teams on special requests.
- Assist with creating and distributing promotional email campaigns and newsletters.
SEO & Trend Monitoring
- Support SEO efforts by optimizing product and site content for search engines.
- Stay current with e-commerce, Amazon seller, and digital growth trends.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of e-commerce/digital marketing experience (Shopify preferred).
- Hands-on experience managing paid ads and/or launching new ad campaigns.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central; experience launching Amazon sales channels preferred.
- Strong social media and content creation skills.
- Excellent copywriting and communication abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritizing multiple projects.
- Analytical mindset; able to interpret data and drive actionable improvements.
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
Additional Information

- Experience in home sewing, textiles, home décor, or design is a plus but not required.
