Position: E-Commerce Operations Executive
Overview:
The E-Commerce Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the productivity and efficiency of e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth execution across all platforms. This role involves managing day-to-day order fulfillment, optimizing the supply chain, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to implement efficient operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities: Order & Fulfillment Management:
- Oversee end-to-end order processing, ensuring timely fulfillment and minimizing delays.
- Monitor order accuracy, stock availability, and seamless coordination with logistics partners.
- Analyze order trends to optimize inventory allocation and fulfillment processes.
Vendor & Product Sourcing:
- Identify and onboard new vendors to expand product offerings and enhance profitability.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and quality standards with suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct periodic performance evaluations.
Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization:
- Work closely with logistics partners to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and manage RTOs (Return to Origin), NDRs (Non-Delivery Reports), and disputes to minimize losses.
- Continuously analyze and improve fulfillment strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and conduct regular audits to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Forecast demand based on sales trends and seasonal fluctuations to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement measures to reduce overstocking, understocking, and dead stock issues.
Customer Engagement & Support:
- Oversee customer support operations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of inquiries and complaints.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and retention, including post-purchase follow-ups and feedback collection.
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews to build brand reputation and trust.
E-Commerce & Platform Management:
- Manage and optimize processes within Shopify, ensuring seamless functionality of the website.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, including abandoned checkout recovery, promotional discounts, and review requests.
- Monitor and improve website performance, including loading speed, user experience, and conversion rates.
Process Development & Standardization:
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Continuously analyze existing workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations, preferably with Shopify or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and product sourcing.
- Proficiency in managing shipping platforms and handling RTOs, NDRs, and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of email marketing strategies and customer engagement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
