Aletha Health operates a direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce business built on a headless architecture with Shopify as the backend. We are seeking a full-time E-Commerce & Performance Marketing Manager to drive measurable revenue growth through conversion optimization, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey execution.

Role Overview

The E-Commerce & Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue, conversion rate optimization (CRO), retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV) across Aletha Health’s DTC funnel.

This role is performance-focused, hands-on, and highly autonomous. It is not a paid media buying role, brand marketing role, product marketing role, or generalist role. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor who can lead initiatives end-to-end without significant day-to-day oversight.

This position is full-time and onsite, five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Conversion Optimization

  • Execute and optimize e-commerce merchandising, promotions, and offers on a headless frontend with Shopify backend.
  • Improve conversion rate, average order value (AOV), repeat purchase rate, and retention.
  • Develop and prioritize CRO initiatives and testing hypotheses based on customer behavior and analytics.
  • Partner with marketing technology and engineering teams to implement experiments and site enhancements.
  • Ensure all site optimizations align with brand standards and customer trust requirements.

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Lead strategy and hands-on execution of lifecycle marketing programs using Klaviyo.
  • Build and optimize email and SMS flows including welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, and win-back.
  • Optimize segmentation, messaging, cadence, and personalization to increase customer lifetime value.
  • Align lifecycle marketing with on-site promotions and customer journey strategy.

Customer Journey & Performance Content

  • Analyze and optimize the end-to-end customer journey across website and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Use content and messaging as performance levers to reduce friction, address objections, and improve conversion.
  • Partner with design and content resources to deploy conversion-focused creative and messaging.
  • Ensure content supports performance goals while maintaining brand consistency.

Analytics, SEO & Optimization

  • Use GA4 and Shopify analytics to monitor funnel performance and identify drop-offs.
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights and prioritized optimization plans.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to support SEO best practices that improve organic performance.
  • Stay current on emerging tools and techniques related to AI, experimentation, personalization, analytics, and search.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing technology partners to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting.
  • Work with internal web development and technology teams on frontend enhancements (without owning engineering).
  • Coordinate with paid media agencies or partners to ensure alignment with funnel performance and lifecycle objectives (without managing campaigns).
  • Partner with designers and agencies to execute performance-driven creative.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in DTC e-commerce performance marketing.
  • Proven experience driving revenue through conversion rate optimization (CRO) and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience working with Shopify (backend) and headless e-commerce environments preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in GA4, Shopify analytics, and Klaviyo.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and lifecycle optimization.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead initiatives independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills across marketing, design, and technology teams.
  • Interest in or experience with SEO and AI-driven marketing optimization.
  • Willingness to work onsite, full-time, five days per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
