About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced automotive industry E-commerce Sales & Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our online business. This is a hands-on role for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in managing e-commerce channels and digital marketing. As the company’s first dedicated e-commerce hire, you will be responsible for building and optimizing our online sales presence, developing growth strategies, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Sales & Growth
· Manage and grow sales across e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, RockAuto, company website, B2B portals, etc.).
· Develop and execute strategies to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions.
· Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends to identify opportunities for growth.
· Track and report on KPIs including sales, conversion rates, and ROI.
Digital Marketing & Brand Development
· Plan and run performance-driven digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, SEO, social media, and email).
· Create and optimize content (product pages, campaigns, creatives) to drive engagement and conversion.
· Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
· Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure accurate listings, inventory availability, and timely fulfillment.
· Work closely with leadership to align e-commerce strategy with business goals.
· Recommend new technologies, tools, or platforms to improve digital sales performance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by:
· Online sales growth: Increase e-commerce revenue by 20–30% YoY.
· Conversion rate improvement: Grow website conversion rate from ~1% to 2%+.
· Return on ad spend (ROAS): Maintain a minimum of 4:1 ROAS on digital campaigns.
· Customer acquisition: Drive consistent growth in new online customers.
· Customer experience: Maintain marketplace ratings of 4 stars+ and reduce return rate to <2% of orders.
· Operational efficiency: Ensure 95%+ on-time order fulfillment and accurate online inventory.
· Strategic contribution: Expand into at least 1–2 new e-commerce channels within the first year.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
· 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce sales and/or digital marketing (manufacturing, consumer goods, or B2B sector preferred).
· Proven track record of growing sales through platforms like Amazon, Shopify, or other online marketplaces.
· Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and digital analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
· Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and introduce new ideas.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
