E-Commerce Sales Specialist

Rexen Consultancy is looking for a seasoned and established e-commerce, sales, and digital marketing operations strategist for multiple FMCG brands in the UK market. The candidate must have demonstrable experience of successfully operating revenue-generating online stores and driving sales growth on platforms such as Amazon, TikTok, Temu, or other digital marketplaces.

The position requires a proactive, self-initiating, and energetic individual who is equally capable of developing sales strategies, predicting competitor behaviour, and identifying market opportunities in light of global trends and events. Freelance consultants and e-commerce entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply, but in-house personnel will be preferred.

The assessment process may involve presenting a brand store audit, sales growth analysis, and digital commerce strategy. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the position shall entail the following, but will not be limited to them:

  • Formulating digital marketing, sales, content, and selling strategies for the assigned brands.
  • Driving online sales growth and revenue performance across e-commerce platforms and digital marketplaces.
  • Managing and optimizing product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and sales funnels to maximize conversions.
  • Rigorous reporting on digital marketing, SEO optimisation, e-commerce sales performance, and revenue growth metrics.
  • Advising the creative head on brand positioning, buyer personas, and high-converting sales content strategies.
  • Executing the end-to-end e-commerce and sales operations, including monitoring real-time pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Liaising closely with top-tier management and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth sales and operational processes.
  • Overseeing the digital media ad buying function for both digital content and e-commerce campaigns aimed at driving sales.
  • Designing the ad set and conversion strategy for each digital promotion touchpoint.
  • Overseeing on-page and technical SEO, marketplace optimisation, and AI search engine optimisation efforts for all digital brand assets.
  • Researching and advising on industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market insights to support timely sales decisions.
  • Monitoring marketplace analytics and optimizing conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Ensuring consistent revenue growth and achievement of sales targets for assigned brands.
  • Advising strategic direction for content, creative, and promotional campaigns that drive engagement and sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable e-commerce growth, digital marketing success, and online sales management.
  • Familiarity with brand-side marketing and sales operations will give the candidate an edge.
