E-Commerce Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities

Wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Developing marketing campaigns, such as seasonal sales or promotional events.
  • Developing reports that track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintaining relationships with customers through social media platforms such as Facebook or

Twitter, answering questions about products or services, and helping customers with problems

  • Identifying profit opportunities for the company by monitoring competitors’ pricing strategies,

new product launches, and industry news

  • Creating product listings on different online marketplaces such as Amazon, using product photos,

descriptions, and pricing information provided by the company.

  • Conducting market research to identify new trends in the industry or among competitors.
  • Reviewing website analytics to determine which products are most popular or what factors may

be influencing customer behaviour.

  • Maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet

quality standards.

  • Managing inventory by arranging for product returns, rebates, and exchanges when necessary.
  • Communicating with customers about order status, shipping dates, and delivery tracking

numbers.

  • Processing orders by updating inventory levels and recording sales in an internal database.
  • Providing recommendations on how to improve online store functionality or customer experience.
  • Recommending improvements and enhancing website designs/SEO and developing new site

designs based on client needs.
