The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the online product assortment across the Extreme Sports e-commerce platform. The role ensures that products are accurately listed, visually appealing, properly categorized, and effectively promoted to maximize sales, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
Product Content Management
- Create, update, and maintain product listings on the website.
- Ensure all products have accurate descriptions, specifications, pricing, and attributes.
- Upload and manage product images, videos, and digital assets.
- Maintain product categorization and navigation structure for optimal customer experience.
Website Merchandising
- Manage homepage banners, category pages, landing pages, and promotional content.
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Ensure best-selling and priority products receive optimal visibility.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate with inventory teams to prevent out-of-stock issues.
Performance & Analytics
- Track key e-commerce KPIs including:
- o Sales performance
- o Conversion rate
- o Average Order Value (AOV)
- o Traffic and customer engagement
- o Product page performance
- Analyze customer behavior and recommend improvements to increase conversions.
- Prepare regular reports on category and website performance.
SEO & Product Discoverability
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, and metadata for search engines.
- Improve product discoverability through effective keyword usage and merchandising practices.
- Monitor website search performance and recommend enhancements.
Marketplace & Digital Channels
- Support product listing and content management across marketplace platforms.
- Ensure consistency of product information across all sales channels.
- Coordinate online promotions and campaigns with marketing teams.
Inventory & Pricing Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing teams.
- Ensure pricing accuracy across all online channels.
- Implement promotional pricing and special offers as directed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Buying, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
- Coordinate product launches and campaign execution.
- Assist in improving overall customer experience and online sales performance.
