EA Specialist

1. Independently design or refine architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas, using appropriate tools and methods.

2. Effectively communicate complex architectural ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

3. Produces specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products.

4. Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.

5. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of cloud and on-premises systems to create more robust and efficient specification.

6. Supports a change program or project through the preparation of technical plans and design principles that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards (including security).

7. Set standards and guide in quality reviews of solution architecture components.

8. Conducts formal reviews and evaluations when projects and program end. Documents and socializes the lessons learned from the architecture development.

9. Conducts and make useful contributions to technical brainstorming sessions.

10. Identifies R&D topics and gain knowledge and understanding of the research field being studied and share it with team

12. Provides advice, both reactively and pro-actively, to those engaged in activities where the technical specialism is applicable both to IT staff and those in related areas such as budgetary and financial planning, litigation, legislation, and health and safety.

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or relevant experience (typically at least 8 years) in a techno management IT and / or business architecture role with a widespread knowledge of IT.
• May have a postgraduate qualification such as an MSc, MBA, or other appropriate business, engineering, scientific or industry qualification.
• Architecture qualification like TOGAF/ Zachman is mandatory.
• Qualification on project management methodologies like PMP from PMI, Prince2 from BCS is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR25,000.00 - QAR27,000.00 per month
