Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Duties

• Assist lead teachers in planning and executing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care and preschool experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety and health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support ongoing learning and development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required. Certification or coursework in early childhood education is desirable.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
