Early Childhood Special Educator – Early Intervention

We are currently seeking a compassionate, student-centered Early Childhood Special Educator to join our team of Early Intervention Providers within the Children’s Therapeutic Services program at Easterseals.

Our program utilizes each child’s natural curiosity to create developmentally appropriate, strengths-based learning experiences that enhance growth and development, in close partnership with families and caregivers.

In this role, you will collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary, pediatric therapy team—including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other related service providers—to deliver evidence-based early intervention services to children from birth through school age. Services are provided in home- and clinic-based settings and emphasize a whole-child, family-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth developmental assessments and evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans using data-driven, evidence-based practices
  • Provide differentiated instruction and developmental support tailored to each child’s needs
  • Write daily documentation and quarterly progress reports to support progress monitoring and compliance
  • Participate as an active member of IFSP and IEP teams, collaborating with families and service providers
  • Maintain compliance with IDEA and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Special Education, or related
  • NH Department of Education certifications/endorsements in one of the following is required:
  • Early Childhood Education (N-3)
  • Early Childhood Special Education (N-3)
  • Special Education
  • Reliable vehicle and insurance
  • 3 years’ experience working with young children preferred

Compensation: Starting $68,000 per year

Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position.
