My city Hospital required qualified and experienced Echocardiography Technician or Technologist (FEMALE) for Evening Shift on part time basis.

Job Summary:

This position is for an Echocardiography Technician or Technologist (FEMALE) for Evening Shift to provide high-quality medical diagnostic services to patients within a specified department. The incumbent will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, and Interpreting ultrasound in images to identify abnormalities heart structure and functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Performing Echocardiograms:

· Operating ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality images of the heart, including 2D, 3D, and Doppler imaging.

• Patient Preparation:

· Explaining the procedure to patients, positioning them appropriately, and obtaining necessary medical history.

• Image Analysis:

· Interpreting ultrasound images to identify abnormalities in heart structure and function, such as valve issues, chamber enlargement, or wall motion abnormalities.

• Data Recording:

· Accurately documenting test results, measurements, and observations in patient records.

• Quality Control:

· Maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate image quality.

6. Collaboration with Physicians:

· Communicating findings to cardiologists, assisting with interpretation, and providing relevant information for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Qualifications:

* Education: BS Radiology or equivalent medical degree / Diploma from a recognized university or HEC.

* Licensure/Certification: Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

* Experience: Fresh or 01 year of experience in imaging department.

Skills:

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-centered care skills.

* Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
