Key Responsibilities:
Buying & Merchandising:
- Plan and execute seasonal buying strategies aligned with sales and fashion trends.
- Conduct supplier connect meetings to source new collections and negotiate pricing,
timelines, and quality.
- Organize and attend buying visits to assess new designs, fabrics, and market trends.
- Prepare and monitor assessment & buying plans to ensure assortment meets sales
and customer demand.
- Track inventory performance and recommend reorders or markdowns.
Product & Content Management:
- Coordinate product photoshoots with internal teams/photographers to ensure highquality
images.
- Ensure all product images, descriptions, and attributes are updated correctly for the
website catalog.
- Collaborate with the website & marketing team for product launches, online
promotions, and campaigns.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Build strong relationships with vendors for timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Negotiate best commercial terms with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company quality and ethical sourcing standards.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor sales data, product performance, and online customer preferences.
- Provide inputs on trends, pricing, and competition to strengthen buying strategies.
- Prepare weekly/monthly buying performance reports for management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of apparel buying, sourcing, and merchandising (preferably
ethnic wear).
- Good eye for fashion trends, fabrics, and consumer preferences.
- Hands-on experience in e-commerce cataloging & website merchandising.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and E-commerce platforms
(Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
