We’re looking for a highly analytical and insights-driven Ecommerce Data Analyst to take ownership of tracking, analysing, and reporting on our digital performance. Your role will focus on understanding user behaviour, website performance, and marketing channel effectiveness (Google Ads, GA4, SEMrush, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) to uncover what’s working, what’s not, and where we can improve revenue and conversions across our eCommerce websites.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse ecommerce performance data, including traffic, user behaviour, product performance, and conversion trends
- Use tools such as:
Google Analytics / GA4
Google Ads
Microsoft Clarity
SEMrush Etc
- Heatmaps & session recordings
- Identify bottlenecks, drop-offs, and opportunities across the full ecommerce funnel
- Build weekly and monthly performance dashboards and reports
- Provide clear, data-backed insights that support decision-making across marketing, product, and UX teams
- Monitor key ecommerce KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, ROAS, revenue, bounce rate, etc.)
- Analyse landing page, category page, and product page performance to identify optimisation opportunities
- Work with marketing and design teams to support testing strategies and site improvements
- Assist with tracking setup, event validation, and data accuracy in GA4 and Tag Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Ecommerce Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role
- Strong analytical skills and advanced experience with GA4 and behaviour-tracking tools like Clarity or Hotjar
- Ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Solid understanding of e-commerce funnels, customer journeys, and performance marketing metrics
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Clear and confident communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience working with Shopify, WooCommerce, or comparable e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, event tracking, and data validation
- Background in performance marketing, CRO, or UX research is a bonus
