The eCommerce Development Executive plays a key role in supporting the company’s digital growth by leveraging technology to enhance customer engagement and drive adoption of our online platform. This role acts as an additional commercial channel that works alongside the sales team, helping to lay the foundation for long-term customer relationships, generate leads, and surface new opportunities. It ensures customers receive timely support and guidance throughout their digital journey, ultimately contributing to a stronger, more connected commercial experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a portfolio of eCommerce customers, focusing on revenue growth, upselling, and retention through digital engagement.
Handle inbound and outbound communication to support customer inquiries, order placement, follow-ups, and onboarding.
Proactively engage with customers to recover abandoned carts, identify upsell opportunities, and create new sales leads.
Qualify and nurture leads generated from eCommerce platform activity, website traffic, and marketing campaigns to convert prospects into active users.
Collaborate closely with eCommerce, sales, marketing, finance, and logistics teams to align on campaigns, product focus, and seamless order fulfilment.
Maintain up-to-date customer data and track interactions to provide personalized support and enable effective follow-up.
Analyse customer behaviour and sales trends regularly, sharing actionable insights to optimize order frequency, basket size, and overall growth.
Act as a key liaison between digital customer activity and the commercial team to support lead generation and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
Previous experience in eCommerce administration, digital sales, or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to manage large data sets.
Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, product listing management, and bulk uploads.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multiple teams.
