Ecommerce Specialist

Role Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Ecommerce Specialist to join our on-site team in Dubai. This role plays a key part in expanding Shpper’s digital presence by building and managing multiple online marketplace channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and optimizing these channels, analyzing customer behavior and sales performance, managing digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring operational excellence. Collaboration with marketing, operations, and technology teams will be essential to achieving success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Collaborate with sellers and store managers.
• UX Improvement: Improve app design.
• Build, manage, and scale multiple online marketplace channels
• Optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and content to drive visibility and conversion
• Analyze customer behavior, sales data, and platform performance to inform growth strategies
• Execute digital marketing initiatives including SEO, advertising campaigns, and email marketing
• Monitor platform traffic and resolve performance or technical issues promptly
• Deliver high standards of customer service through timely communication and support
• Work cross-functionally to align marketplace efforts with broader business goals

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing multiple eCommerce marketplace accounts
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools and eCommerce platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Prior experience in online sales and marketplace operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Retail or cross-border commerce experience is an advantage
• Must be based in Dubai and available for full-time on-site work
