The National WWII Museum is currently seeking an Educational Content Project Manager. The Educational Content Project Manager serves an integral role in managing the Jenny Craig Institute’s support and historical input for National World War II Museum priorities and initiatives requiring superior historical content. Those priorities include the Institute’s collaboration with, and support for, the Museum’s Educational Travel programs, Marketing-Communications products, K-12 education activities, and Institutional Advancement initiatives, including member and donor relations. The Institute’s Educational Content Project Manager also will manage the critical support provided by the Institute’s senior leaders and historians, assist in coordinating and managing content requirements and deliverables, and deconflicting priority and emergent tasks.
A core focus of this position is cross-departmental collaboration and comprehensive content project management for both active programs and programs in development. The position plays a key role in the development and refinement of the historical content required for other Museum stakeholders, with a particular focus on helping ensure that the Museum’s educational travel programs and their marketing and tour materials are consistently supported and updated to deliver historically accurate, compelling, and relevant content to current and future Museum guests and travelers. This position also works with the Museum’s Institutional Advancement team and development officers to ensure the Institute provides consistently superior historical content and senior-level engagements for members, important guests, and donors.
The position reports to the Senior Director of Programs of the Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy.
