The Role
As an Edutainer at Red Sea Global Hospitality, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, fun, and educational programs for guests of all ages, especially children, while maintaining a focus on learning through play and creativity. You will be the bridge between education and entertainment, creating memorable, interactive, and enjoyable experiences that reflect the luxury and innovative spirit of the resort. Your role will combine elements of teaching, entertainment, and guest service, ensuring that guests have enriching and exciting experiences during their stay.
You will collaborate with other team members across departments to ensure that your programs are seamlessly integrated into the resort’s offerings, contributing to the overall guest experience. Whether leading group activities, facilitating themed events, or hosting educational workshops, your goal is to foster a joyful, immersive learning environment for resort guests.

Guest Experience and Engagement

Deliver engaging, interactive, and educational activities (cultural and environmental) for guests, with a focus on providing fun and valuable experiences for children and families.

Develop and implement themed programs, workshops, games, and activities that align with the resort’s ethos, values, and luxury brand standards.

Use creative storytelling, play, and interactive learning techniques to educate while entertaining guests of all ages.

Engage guests in both group and individual activities, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere that caters to various learning styles and interests.

Adapt content and activities based on guest preferences, age groups, and cultural sensitivities to ensure relevance and enjoyment.

Act as a positive and approachable ambassador for the resort, building strong relationships with guests and making them feel welcome and valued throughout their experience.

Program Development and Coordination

Develop and design educational programs that balance entertainment and learning, focusing on creativity, sustainability, nature, history, and cultural immersion.

Plan and organize group activities, including games, arts and crafts, environmental education, science experiments, and interactive storytelling sessions.

Coordinate with other resort departments, such as Kids Club, Spa & Recreation, and F&B, to ensure seamless integration of edutainment programs into the overall guest experience.

Organize special events and seasonal activities (e.g., holiday-themed programs, talent shows, scavenger hunts) that align with resort events and promotions.

Safety and Well-being

Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests during activities, adhering to resort safety standards and protocols.

Supervise children and guests participating in activities, maintaining a safe and respectful environment at all times.

Remain vigilant and proactive in monitoring guest participation, adjusting activities to meet the needs of all guests and ensuring comfort and safety.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians of younger guests to ensure that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

Guest Feedback and Continuous Improvement

Actively solicit feedback from guests regarding their participation in activities, using their input to refine and improve the edutainment offerings.

Respond to guest feedback and concerns promptly, ensuring that any issues are addressed in a professional and positive manner.

Keep up with industry trends in education, entertainment, and family-focused hospitality to continually evolve the resort’s offerings.

Collaboration with Other Teams

Work closely with the Recreation Teams to ensure that the edutainment programs align with the resort’s overall guest experience strategy.

Collaborate with Kids Club, Recreation, Spa, and Fitness teams to create integrated wellness, learning, and entertainment experiences for families and children.

Coordinate with the resort’s Marketing team to promote edutainment offerings through internal channels, ensuring guests are aware of available activities during their stay.

Administrative and Operational Duties

Maintain accurate records of guest participation in activities, including attendance, feedback, and special requests.

Help prepare and manage materials, equipment, and supplies needed for educational programs and activities.

Monitor inventory of activity-related items (e.g., arts and crafts supplies, toys, educational materials) and report shortages or restocking needs to the Recreation Manager.

Contribute to the scheduling of activities, ensuring that the resort’s event calendar is balanced and maximizes guest engagement.

Team Support and Professional Development

Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.

Participate in regular team meetings, contributing ideas to improve guest experiences and program offerings.

Stay informed about the latest trends in children’s education, edutainment, and hospitality, taking part in training and professional development opportunities.

Other Duties

Assist with other guest services activities and events as needed, ensuring that the resort’s high standards of service are consistently met.

Support the team with general resort operations when required, ensuring a seamless guest experience across all touchpoints.
