EHR Specialist

Are you a healthcare IT professional who loves being the bridge between technology and clinical teams?
Do you get excited when you find a smarter way to configure a workflow — or finally crack a tricky EHR ticket? If so, we want to hear from you.

As our EHR Specialist, you'll be the organizational go-to for all things Electronic Health Record. You'll partner with clinical, operational, quality, and financial teams to optimize our EHR system, protect data integrity, and keep our technology running at its best — all while supporting the mission of community health.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and resolve EHR tickets, coordinating with vendors and department leaders for timely solutions
  • Serve as EHR Super User — advising on system configuration, workflow optimization, and best practices
  • Own onboarding/offboarding system access, role assignments, and deactivations in line with HIPAA and policy
  • Enforce minimum necessary access standards and maintain compliant user roles and permissions
  • Develop, document, and maintain EHR protocols, build standards, and system governance practices
  • Monitor EHR security and audit logs; identify risks and escalate findings appropriately
  • Support EHR training for new functionality, workflow changes, and role-based system use
  • Partner with the Security Manager on cybersecurity activities related to the EHR system
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors on integrations, interfaces, and issue resolution
  • Support data integrity efforts that impact reporting, quality measures, and patient care

What We're Looking For:

Required

  • Associate degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or IT with a healthcare focus
  • 2–5 years of experience in a clinical setting with EHR access, workflows, or system support responsibilities
  • Administrative-level or security-role experience within a clinical EHR system
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and complex health information systems
  • Must reside in Pennsylvania — this is a fully onsite role

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting EHR implementations, upgrades, or cross-functional workflow redesign
