Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of eLearning Developer in the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME).

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager (Learning Systems & Digital Platforms), Office of UGME and under supervision, you will collaborate with faculty, students, and other stakeholders to design courses on Moodle, develop and maintain student webpages, and support UGME dashboards. The role requires a goal-oriented, solution-focused approach to strengthen eLearning initiatives and online solutions for undergraduate stakeholders.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • assisting faculty and administrative users to design, enroll, and upload content on LMS (MOODLE).
  • designing, updating, and maintaining students’ webpage (eQuad) and course sites on Moodle.
  • maintaining curriculum and evaluation dashboards on SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • assisting faculty and administration to develop texts, images and graphics into appropriate digital format on MOODLE LMS
  • identifying and implementing technical solutions for on-campus, blended, and online learning
  • designing and developing courses on Moodle or similar platforms using tools like Articulate Storyline.
  • training students, faculty, and staff on eLearning tools (Moodle, webinars, video conferencing) and troubleshooting issues.
  • coordinating with IT and the Blended & Digital Learning Network to support digital learning activities.
  • gathering and analyzing feedback to improve eLearning content and systems.
  • Any other task assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

You should have:

  • a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
  • minimum 2 years of experience in course site development (such as Moodle) or related areas in education.
  • experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence (preferred).
  • knowledge and hands-on experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and Data Analytics (preferred).
  • skills in web development and design (including HTML for Moodle) and multimedia content development.
  • strong organizational and task-tracking abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • ability to manage multiple priorities, handle varying workloads, and adapt creatively
  • proficiency in MS Excel
  • fluency in English with strong communication skills and the ability to work with a multicultural team.
  • a solution-oriented mindset and commitment to quality control.
