Job Title: Sales Engineer – Electric Buggies & Electric Utility Vehicles

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive sales of electric buggies and electric utility vehicles across key sectors such as hospitality, golf courses, airports, industrial facilities, real estate communities, and campuses. The role combines technical product knowledge with strong sales, customer engagement, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for electric buggies and EV utility vehicles.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, site visits, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and order closure.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, fleet operators, facility managers, and procurement teams.
Technical & Product Support
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable electric vehicle models, battery options (lithium / lead-acid), and accessories.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations at customer sites.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams for trials, commissioning, and after-sales support.
- Assist customers with basic technical clarifications, specifications, and ROI calculations.
Market & Customer Engagement
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Support marketing initiatives with customer insights and case studies.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare quotations, tenders, technical submittals, and sales reports.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive preferred).
Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience in electric vehicles, industrial equipment, batteries, chargers, material handling, or related B2B products.
- Experience in UAE/GCC market is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of electric vehicles, batteries (especially lithium-ion), charging systems, and fleet applications.
- Ability to explain technical features in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
Other Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Willingness to travel across UAE and occasionally GCC.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- English required; Arabic is an added advantage.
