Electric Vehicle (EV) Diagnostic Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in EV systems.
• Analyze and interpret data from high-voltage systems, battery packs, motors, and charging units.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify root causes of failures.
• Develop and implement repair plans and standard operating procedures for EV-specific components.
• Work closely with technicians, service teams, and fellow engineers to resolve vehicle issues and optimize performance.
• Stay current with evolving EV technologies, OEM standards, and industry trends.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, diagnostic reports, and service records.
• Conduct training sessions for technicians and internal teams on EV diagnostic techniques and repair methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all diagnostic and repair activities.
• Support remote troubleshooting efforts and provide technical guidance to service partners and customers via phone or video.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for diagnostic tools, processes, and systems.
