Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop skills in both industrial and commercial electrical work, working alongside experienced electricians on construction sites and various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical systems, safety protocols, and technical learning within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed electricians with installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
  • Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks
  • Measure electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
  • Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards
  • Aid in the setup of construction sites, including framing carpentry related to electrical infrastructure
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop technical skills related to electrical codes, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge or experience with electrical systems is preferred; industrial or commercial electrician experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as ohmmeters
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
  • Understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards
  • Construction site experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to follow instructions diligently
  • Physical ability to work on construction sites including climbing ladders, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid <PERSON> (or equivalent) license or willingness to obtain one during training period is preferred

Pay: $25.90 - $28.79 per hour
