Job Responsibilities

  • Acting as a Lead Designer (Electrical) for the project.
  • Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual drawings for Electrical discipline
  • Key Indicators FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent presentation ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
  • Develop 3D models maintaining inter-disciplinary checks with all other disciplines.
  • Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued as per project specifications
  • Study and understand the E&I design scope of work. Need to be conversant with Company and Client procedures, standards and applicable international codes and standards
  • Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs and drawings
  • Should be capable of independently review 3D models, extracting cable. cable tray MTO, earthing MTO from respective layout drawings.
  • Assist Discipline Lead in preparing estimates for proposals and job scope changes, including execution statements, work schedules, and man-hour requirements
  • Prepare and review Discipline deliverables such as:
    • 3D model
    • Detailed design drawings
    • As-built drawings
    • MTO extraction and Preparation
    • To support the import and export of reference model to PDMS / E3D from vendor inputs.
    • Review of vendor drawings deliverables which are to be made in line with project requirements.
    • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline in accordance to applicable codes and standards.
    • Knowledge on AVEVA Electrical , AVEVA Instrumentation will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge on AutoCAD.

  • Cable blocks diagram, cable & Junction Box schedule
  • Instrument Hook up (Pneumatic and Process) Diagram
  • Installation standards, Loop diagram
  • Fire & Gas Equipment Layout, PA system, MCT arrangements, etc.,
  • Thorough understanding of Interdisciplinary interfaces
  • Should be proficient in developing electrical models in E3D and review in Navisworks.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
  • Degree: Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical
  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • Experience in oil and gas industry
  • Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies
