Electrical Distribution Systems Quality Team Member

About The Job

The purpose of this role to deliver the tasks under EESE Systems such as Electronics Modules, Wiring & EDS Components, Connected & Entertainment Systems .

Relevant engineer responsibilities are as following

1. Investigate customer claims related to Electric & Electronics Systems, understand the root cause and take necessary actions collaborating with cross functional teams.

2.Analyze warranty data, identify component design/integration issues, review assembly processes to contain/eliminate product quality concerns of EESE components and systems.

3.Support to manage PVT team Electric & Electronics engineering design & quality changes by working closely with Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing and Finance divisions and track concerns until implementation (end to end responsibility)

5.Work closely with manufacturing plants located in several locations worldwide to resolve issues

6.Use Problem solving tools (6 Sigma& 3L5W etc.) and processes for resolution of complex problems.

8.Arrange audits if required at the individual assembly processes or at suppliers.

9.Responsible to keep PV/CV EESE FE/FH Warranty & QNPS metrics and Improve the data.

10.Able to analyze complex quality data of both external customer and internal plant metrics, to prioritize the work with cross functional teams.

11.Manage Weekly Quality Meetings with PVT, and cross functional teams. Support VQR, QPST, EU QM and other Quality platforms if required

12.Support Future Transit Programs

13.Receiving all X-Carline information, carline history, platform strategy, modular catalogues, are in place and involving/conducting benchmark studies to meet quality metrics

14.Responsible for program metrics status preparation in EDS, being EDS representative for gateway meetings.

Experience

• Basic knowledge for wiring harness & power electronics and electronic components and circuit analysis.
• Background on application of wiring harness & power supply components
• Familiarity with wiring harness & power supply component technical drawings and MS Office Applications
• Advanced level of English, written and verbal communication skills
• Wiring Harness &Power supply production experience (mechanical and electrical) preferred.
• Wiring Harness &Power supply assembly process knowledge (mechanical and electrical) preferred

Education

B.Sc. degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Material Engineering
