Electrical Draftsman

Job Title: Electrical Draftsman (5 years)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings for lighting, power, ELV, and low-current systems as per project requirements.
• Develop and update drawings based on approved design drawings, site conditions, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, site teams, and other disciplines (MEP, civil, architectural).
• Revise drawings as per consultant/client comments and resubmit for approval.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and local authority regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
• Support quantity take-offs and material coordination when required.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide drafting support to the project team.

Requirements & Skills:

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman in construction or MEP projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Good understanding of electrical systems including lighting, power, earthing, and ELV.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
