Wanted Urgently MEP Draftsman

Job Summary

The MEP Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings based on design specifications, codes, and standards. The role supports engineers and project teams by producing accurate shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Develop layouts for HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, and plumbing systems
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural drawings
• Modify drawings based on engineer comments and site requirements
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and local codes
• Assist engineers in design development and technical documentation
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
• Support construction teams with drawing clarifications when required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Drafting
• Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is a strong advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP drafting
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of industry standards and building codes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills

· Immediate joining with NOC preferred

· Compensation: Competitive, Based on Experience- Range Between 5000- 6000 QAR package based on experience

· Qatar Driving license preferred, Qatar Returned preferred

Working Conditions

• Office-based with occasional site visits
• May require coordination with engineers, contractors, and consultants
• Ability to meet project deadlines
