Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
- Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
- Implement robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
- Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
- Manage complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints
- Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
- Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth
- knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and eight (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
- Preferred: PE License
- Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills?
- Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
- Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)?
- Preferred: Experience with PLCs?
- Preferred: Project Management experience?
- Preferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
- Preferred: Proficiency in designing, and implementing Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
