About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power critical infrastructure—pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage, while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. You will also manage engineering projects from concept to completion, directly contributing to reliability, safety, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical infrastructure.
  • Integrate advanced technologies (automation, real-time monitoring, energy storage) to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Implement safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems.
  • Provide expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and facility upgrades.
  • Manage complex engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to foster growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a top priority.
  • Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvements.
  • Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with PLCs and HMI systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing instrumentation systems (PLC, HMI).
  • Experience working in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC phases of small to medium facility projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
