Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical systems and installations for various construction and MEP projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical drawings, load schedules, and technical documentation.
• Design and implement electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Supervise electrical works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for timely project execution.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Review material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare estimates, BOQs, and assist in project cost control.
• Ensure all electrical works adhere to local regulations and international standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP or construction projects in Qatar or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
• Excellent understanding of Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and local authority requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• UPDA/MMUP Certification preferred.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.
