2. Role Summary

We are seeking a Resident Engineer – Electrical to monitor execution works and support the design and

supervision of electrical systems in water supply, sewerage, wastewater treatment, and reuse projects.

The role involves detailed engineering, vendor coordination, inspection, and project management

support to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

3. Position Details

● Designation: Electrical Engineer

● Qualification: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

● Location: Jalgaon–Bhusawal, Maharashtra

● Experience: 2–5 years

● Employment Type: Full-time

● Reports To: Project Manager

● Salary: As per industry norms (no bar for deserving candidates)

4. Key Responsibilities

● Monitor execution works ensuring quality and safety compliance.

● Conduct site visits, collect data, and support field execution.

● Perform due diligence on existing WTPs/STPs/ETPs and recommend upgrades.

● Coordinate electrical inputs with Process, Mechanical, and Civil teams.

● Prepare detailed engineering deliverables: Load Lists, Load Analysis, SLDs, layouts, equipment

sizing (cables, transformers, capacitors, bus-bars, earthing, lighting, switchyard).

● Develop cable/termination schedules; review vendor drawings.

● Evaluate vendor offers and electrical equipment (HT/LT panels, relays, switchgear, chargers,

etc.).

● Review layouts (SLDs, equipment, earthing, lightning protection, cable trays).

● Plan and optimise power distribution networks (0.415 kV to 33 kV).

● Inspect equipment during factory/site acceptance tests.

● Prepare project status reports, client correspondence, and flag risks.

● Support feasibility studies, DPR preparation, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports.

● Represent the organisation in client/government meetings as electrical expert.

5. Knowledge & Skills

● Experience in water supply and sewerage projects, with knowledge of state DSRs and

estimation.

● Strong knowledge of Indian & international electrical standards.

● Thorough understanding of Indian Electricity Rules and Electricity Act.

● Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; strong documentation/reporting skills.

● Awareness of electrical systems in conventional and non-conventional treatment plants.

● Experience in Construction/PMC for water/wastewater plants and sewerage systems.

6. Leadership & Teamwork

● Deliver outputs as per project/client timelines.

● Maintain proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

● Support project managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

7. Mandatory Qualifications

● Education: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

● Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater/infrastructure projects.

● Technical Skills: AutoCAD, MS Office, project estimation, vendor coordination, site supervision.

● Professional Competencies: Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, with strong communication

skills.
