Electrical Engineer

• Job Overview: (Located in Joplin, MO)
• We are searching for an electrical engineer to work with our engineering and production teams in electrical design and layout of control systems as well as ladder logic and servo motion programming. This includes design reviews, product development, and documentation packages. The engineer will also be responsible for technical support and troubleshooting with our service team, as well as our customers.
• Reports to Engineering manager.
• Responsibilities:
• 1. Assists in the design review and approval process of new products as well as supporting existing products.
• 2. Work hand in hand with the control panel production team to make sure projects are completed in a timely manner as well as costing out components with vendors and maintaining delivery dates.
• 3. Generates service bulletins for general instructions such as field modifications or program changes.
• 4. Participate in all activities related to the development of new products.
• 5. Travel to customer sites for product support or oversee new product installation.\

Qualifications:

1. BS electrical engineering, EET, or equivalent related to electrical controls.

2. Basic understanding of AC and DC electrical circuits.

3. Solidworks training or other CAD software for creating electrical schematics.

4. PLC and servo controls programming (Allen Bradley, Idec, Yaskawa).

5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, particularly in dealings with parts suppliers.

6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, production, engineering, and inventory.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
