Marine Cable Engineer (HV Submarine / Offshore) – Oman – 8 Month Contract

We are currently supporting a high-profile client in the marine/offshore power sector on an 8-month project based in Oman (Masirah Island).

This is an execution-focused role, ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in offshore submarine cable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation and construction activities related to submarine cable systems

• Monitor offshore operations and ensure project execution aligns with technical standards

• Review EPC contractor documentation related to marine cable works

• Witness site activities including FAT, SAT, and commissioning

• Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in High Voltage (HV) submarine cable projects (essential)

• Strong offshore / marine construction experience

• Experience with cable installation, jointing, testing or commissioning

• Good understanding of marine environments (seabed conditions, tidal impact, offshore challenges)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Only candidates with submarine cable and offshore experience will be considered.

Package:

• 8-month contract

• Salary: 1400–1600 OMR (single status)
