Electrical Engineer

The Role
Our Large MEP Contracting Client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced Electrical Engineers to join their team in Dubai. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Electrical Engineer with experience in panel manufacturing and utility / O&G large scale MEP projects in the UAE and beyond having worked for recognised main or MEP contracting companies previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity, employed by our client. Key Responsibilities: • Execute projects as per contract, specifications, and approved drawings • Project Planning & navigating plan to ensure on-time delivery of electrical panels • Track project milestones and close actions proactively • Manage scope changes and technical deviations • Review and finalize SLDs, GA, and wiring , Schematic diagrams • Ensure designs comply with IEC / IS standards and customer specs • Coordinate between design, production, and quality teams • Approve BOMs and engineering documents before release • Interface communication with Client /Consultants & vendors. • Prepare material BOQ from the drawings • Plan and monitor material requirements • Coordinate with purchase for timely procurement • Avoid excess inventory, rework, and cost overruns • Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives • Monitor panel fabrication, busbar assembly, and wiring activities • Conduct and witness routine tests and FAT • Close non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions • Prepare and maintain quality & test documentation • Act as the single point of contact for project-related matters • Handle client queries, inspections, and approvals • Coordinate with consultants and third-party inspectors • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication • Co-ordination to conduct customer FAT . • Material and design Planning for achieving FAT and on-time deliveries. • Address punch points and inspection comments • Ensure readiness for dispatch with complete documentation • Coordinate packing, labeling, and dispatch approvals • Facilitate Progress certification for Invoicing

Requirements
Electrical Engineer Experience: • Bachelors /Degree in Electrical Engineering • Minimum 2 to 3 Years of project experience in the field of Electrical Panel Manufacturing company with experience in Utility and Oil & Gas Segment. • Design & Engineering Skills • Standards & Compliance • Project Management Skills • Operation & maintenance manuals • Change management documentation\ • Communication with clients & vendors • Team coordination • Problem-solving under pressure • Decision-making • Time management • Negotiation & conflict handling • Customer-oriented mindset
