We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design, procurement, and construction of high and low-voltage power supply and distribution systems for our overseas factory projects. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local regulations (specifically in the UAE/Middle East) and maintaining high standards of site safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Lifecycle Management: * Lead the design phase by coordinating with local Design Institutes (DIs) for high/low-voltage power distribution systems.
* Oversee the full Procurement & Tendering (Strategic Sourcing) process for electrical equipment and services.
* Manage on-site construction units to ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with local utility standards.
* Site Standardization & 6S Management: * Enforce site management protocols and "Five-Factory" construction standards.
* Maintain a highly organized work environment through rigorous cleaning, sorting, and standardization (6S/Lean practices).
* Safety & Risk Mitigation: * Conduct regular electrical safety audits and hazard identification.
* Implement corrective actions immediately to ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
* Lead safety training sessions for the electrical department.
* Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: * Execute equipment overhaul plans to ensure maximum operational uptime and processing capability.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and provide technical support during the commissioning and operational phases.
* Ad-hoc Tasks: * Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership to support the overall factory construction goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
* Experience: * Proven full-lifecycle experience in overseas high/low-voltage power distribution projects (Design, Procurement, and Implementation).
* Mandatory: Strong familiarity with international electrical standards (IEC/BS).
* Preferred: Direct experience with power distribution projects in the UAE (familiarity with DEWA, ADDC, or AADC regulations is a significant advantage).
* Language: Fluency in English as a primary working language (technical reporting, site coordination, and vendor negotiations).
* Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and power system simulation software; strong project management and cross-cultural communication skills.
