Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of all electrical systems and equipment within the tissue paper manufacturing unit. This includes tissue machines, converting lines, utilities, and power distribution systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems of tissue paper machines, rewinding machines, embossing units, and packaging lines
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and proper functioning of electrical panels, MCCs, PLCs, and drives
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical equipment
• Diagnose faults and minimize machine downtime through quick resolution
• Monitor and maintain motors, sensors, VFDs, and control systems
• Handle installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare parts inventory
• Coordinate with production team to optimize machine performance and efficiency
• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and cost reduction programs
• Supervise electricians and technicians on shift

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably tissue paper or FMCG industry)
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation
• Experience in troubleshooting high-speed production machinery
• Familiarity with power distribution systems and industrial electrical safety standards
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
