Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer / Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings, assisting in design development, and supporting project execution in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop electrical shop drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD or relevant software
• Design and draft electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and technical documents
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site teams for design updates and revisions
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and standards
• Assist in material take-off and quantity estimation
• Modify drawings based on site conditions and engineer instructions
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings
• Support as-built drawing preparation after project completion

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical drafting / engineering (construction or MEP field preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems (LV, lighting, fire alarm, ELV)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in UAE/GCC construction projects
• Knowledge of DEWA / local authority regulations
• Revit MEP or BIM experience is an advantage

Compensation:

• Salary will be discussed during the interview

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
