Electrical Draftsman

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Draftsman with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of electrical and ELV systems, be proficient in AutoCAD, and be able to prepare accurate shop drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and support the engineering team throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare electrical and ELV shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.

Develop layouts for power, lighting, containment, and low current systems.

Review IFC and tender drawings and prepare shop drawings accordingly.

Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and assist in BOQ preparation.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve drawing conflicts.

Revise drawings based on consultant and engineer comments.

Prepare installation details and drawing revisions.

Maintain drawing records and project documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

0–2 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage).

Good understanding of electrical and ELV systems, including power, lighting, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, and Public Address.

Ability to perform quantity take-offs and prepare material schedules.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

UAE experience is an advantage.

Immediate joiners are preferred.
