Our client is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a healthcare facility maintenance team for a short-term contract in Al Thumama and Al Karaana, Qatar. Experience: 5 years of facility maintenance experience in the healthcare sector.
Location: Al Thumama & Al Karaana, Qatar
Employment Type: Temporary (1 Month – Extendable)
Salary: QAR 6,500 (Full Package)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day + 1 hour break
Working Days: 6 days per week

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a healthcare facility maintenance team for a short-term contract in Al Thumama and Al Karaana, Qatar. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical maintenance, particularly within healthcare environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and safe operation of all electrical systems in medical and non-medical buildings within the assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in healthcare facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar safety standards and PHCC regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain critical equipment such as generators and emergency power systems.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports.
• Support energy management initiatives and facility upgrades.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns ensuring patient safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance within the healthcare sector.
• Valid Qatar driving license and Qatar ID (QID) are mandatory.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
