Electrical Engineer (Maintenance)

Role Summary

We are hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor with a valid Transformer A/B Licence to handle industrial electrical maintenance, drive (VFD) installations, preventive maintenance, and audit/support documentation. The role requires strong hands-on capability in wiring/rewiring and maintaining power quality systems like power factor correction.

Must-Have Requirements

• Valid Transformer A/B Licence (mandatory)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of VFD/Drive installation, wiring, and basic parameter setup
• Experience in basic wiring, rewiring, cable termination, panel-related work
• Able to support audit-related work (safety checks, logbooks, checklists, compliance docs)
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution
• Knowledge of right tools for electrical work (proper use of multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester/megger, crimping tools, etc.)
• Understanding and upkeep of Power Factor maintenance (capacitor bank, APFC panel basics)
• Willing to work night shifts / rotational shifts when required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & breakdown maintenance for electrical systems, panels, motors, and drives
• Handle drive/VFD installations: mounting, wiring, commissioning support, troubleshooting
• Execute wiring/rewiring jobs safely: cable routing, termination, earthing, labeling
• Maintain power factor correction system: capacitor bank health checks, contactor/relay checks, basic APFC troubleshooting
• Ensure proper tools usage and safe work practices (isolation, LOTO, PPE)
• Maintain records and audit documentation: PM checklists, breakdown reports, safety logs, spares usage
• Coordinate with production/maintenance teams for shutdown work and quick restoration

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in factory utilities (DG, transformer yard, compressors, pumps, ETP electricals)
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and basic compliance expectations
• Ability to train technicians/helpers and manage small maintenance tasks independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
