ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (Operations & Maintenance)

Job Description:

Electrical Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical equipment, systems, and components. Their work typically involves a wide range of products and services, including electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, and power generation equipment.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years of proven experience in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Only Freelancer will be accepted
• Must be locally available in Qatar
• A holder of a valid QID / Resident Permit
• Can join immediately
• Can provide his own food, accommodation and transportation

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

• Closely monitoring the CAFM system and coordinating with the helpdesk to close the tickets on time
• Supervise the maintenance of electrical and ELV systems, including power distribution networks, control panels, ELV systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and oversee timely repairs to restore functionality.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the preventive maintenance schedules for electrical installations.
• Ensure to complete the assigned project with the KPI described in O&M contract.
• Perform regular system checks and risk assessments to preempt potential failures.
• Ensure all O&M activities adhere to local codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Prepare and submit technical RFI to client / consultants for new business, such as modification, enhancement, replacement, and fitout
• Timely review and update the electrical load schedule and to ensure load balance.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to coordinate O&M activities seamlessly.

Location: Place Vendome, Lusail

Contract: Six (6) months.
