Electrical Engineer - Roads and Utilities Infrastructure

What You ll Do

* Deliver electrical engineering designs and documentation for road and utility infrastructure projects
* Lead technical reviews, prepare calculations, procurement specs, installation plans, and progress reports
* Review contractor submittals and drawings before RTA submission and approval
* Coordinate directly with RTA and utility stakeholders for approvals and field execution
* Ensure compliance with Dubai authority regulations including RTA, DEWA, and Dubai Municipality
* Guide CAD designers, junior engineers, and provide technical oversight for assigned projects
* Support LV/HV works coordination with contractors and ensure accurate documentation and follow-ups
* Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling related to electrical components
* Maintain project records, follow RTA procedural formats, and ensure timely approvals
* Report technical progress to project managers and flag any deviations in design or execution

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure electrical works in the UAE, preferably in Dubai
* Strong understanding of Dubai authority procedures (RTA, DEWA, DM)
* Familiar with traffic signals, road lighting, LV/HV systems, and utility coordination
* Proficient in CAD and engineering software relevant to electrical design and supervision
* Excellent stakeholder communication and contractor coordination skills
* Proven ability to lead and supervise field electrical activities for roads and infrastructure
