Electrical Engineer – Steel Unit

Location:

Bachau, Gandhidham, Gujarat

Experience Required:

Minimum 3 Years in Electrical Engineering (preferably in Steel / Manufacturing Industry)

Salary:

Up to ₹40,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and maintain electrical systems and equipment within the steel manufacturing unit.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical panels, motors, switchgears, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement timely corrective actions to avoid downtime.
• Ensure proper operation of control systems, PLCs, and electrical automation systems used in steel production.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for effective and safe electrical operations.
• Maintain and update electrical drawings, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (electrical safety practices, EHS guidelines).
• Monitor energy consumption and suggest energy-saving measures to improve efficiency.
• Manage installation of new electrical equipment and ensure it meets quality and safety requirements.
• Support periodic electrical audits and implement corrective actions.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering)

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturing industries.
• Good knowledge of PLC Programming and Control Systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
