Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and execute electrical systems for projects in Qatar. The candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and approve electrical systems including LV/MV/HV, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and ELV systems
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals
• Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical works
• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa regulations, QCS, IEC, NEC, and other applicable standards
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and authorities
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues and non-conformities
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Support authority approvals and inspections
• Prepare technical reports and as-built documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–10 years of relevant experience (depending on role level)
• Experience working on projects in Qatar or GCC preferred
• Strong knowledge of Kahramaa standards and approval processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of ETAP, Dialux, or similar tools is a plus
• Good understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and QA/QC procedures
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure.
• Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
