Electrical Foreman – Job Responsibilities (UAE Construction)1. Site Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and helpers on site.
- Allocate manpower and assign tasks as per project schedule and priorities.
- Ensure work is completed on time and as per approved drawings and specifications.
2. Installation & Execution
- Oversee installation of electrical systems including:
- Power & lighting systems
- Cable trays, conduits, trunking
- DBs, panels, switchgear
- Earthing & lightning protection systems
- Ensure proper termination, testing, and commissioning of electrical works.
3. Drawings & Specifications
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and shop drawings.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical standards.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineer for clarifications and site issues.
4. Quality Control
- Inspect electrical work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Identify defects and ensure rectification as per consultant/client requirements.
- Maintain high workmanship standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety rules and UAE HSE regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by site staff.
6. Coordination
- Coordinate with other trades (civil, HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting).
- Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Support inspections with consultants, DEWA/ADDC/SEWA where applicable.
7. Materials & Tools
- Monitor usage of electrical materials and avoid wastage.
- Request materials as per site requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and materials.
8. Reporting
- Report daily progress to Electrical Engineer or Site Engineer.
- Update manpower deployment and work status.
- Assist in preparing daily and weekly work reports.
9. Testing & Commissioning Support
- Assist in testing of electrical systems (IR test, continuity, functional tests).
- Support final commissioning and handover activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED100.00 - AED200.00 per month

- as Electrical Foreman : 3 years (Preferred)
- UAE : 3 years (Preferred)
