An Electrical Foreman supervises and coordinates electrical work on construction or maintenance projects, ensuring everything is completed safely, on time, and according to plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and helpers on site
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts
• Assign daily tasks and monitor progress
• Ensure proper installation of:
• Wiring systems
• Lighting and power systems
• Panels and switchgear
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams
• Enforce safety procedures and site rules
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance
• Order materials and manage tools/equipment

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation
• Ability to read drawings (e.g., from AutoCAD)
• Leadership and team management
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering
• 3–8 years of experience in electrical work
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
