Purpose of Position
Electrical Inspectors inspect the installation of electrical systems.- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Major Responsibilities

The Inspector shall inspect and monitor SEC Projects in relation to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control; escalate non-compliance and violation of scope, codes and standards; reviews Project Quality Documents and performs other tasks in relation of Projects Quality in area of his or her specialty.

Review of applicable contractual requirements (technical standards, specifications etc.)

Review of QHSE drawings / files / plans and the relevant procedures review and validation of inspection assignment documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedules, drawings, milestones, reporting, logistics, coordination procedure, etc.)

Monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper Installation, operation and calibration using inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
- Execution of inspection reporting including Non-Conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables, treatment and closing of Non-Conformities / corrective actions

Interpretation of results of survey or inspection

Respects security guidelines of BV and safeguards personal security in the working environment

Initiating internal Inspection reports/INCR’s to construction crew for effective implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, Method Statements , written procedures, project specifications, Manufacturers' recommendations, Shop drawings etc.
- Accurately document the results/comments of the inspections and testing.
Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field to his or her specialty

Master’s degree in electrical, Engineering or related field to his or her specialty (preferred).

10+ years proven experience.

Skills & Qualities:.

- Knowledge of QA/QC standards.

Knowledge of design and construction regulation and requirements in KSA.
